Welcome to the Butte County Dance Scholarship! This program is designed to foster a vibrant future for youth arts in Butte County and The surrounding regions.

Investing in the Next Generation of dancers
The program Butte County Dance Scholarship provide talented young dancers with training, mentorship and performance experience they need to reach their full potential—regardless of financial circunstances.
50 FULL
SCHORLARSHIPS
Fifty scholarships awarded to talented young dancers.
ELITE TRAINING
A full year of intensive classical ballet instructions.
As part of our registered nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, every tax-deductible donation directly supports music education, performances and community outreach.
SCHOLARSHIP DETAILS
Investing in potential.
Each of the 50 selected dancers will receive a comprehensive year of classical ballet education and elite performance opportunities:
Full tuition for one year: Complete access to a year of classical ballet instruction at no cost to families.
Selection criteria: Scholarships are awarded based on artistic potential and demonstrated financial need, and recipients must commit to attending all classes.
Exclusive Performance Oportunities: Selected recipients will perform in the Fall and Spring Showcases, Coppelia and The Nutcracker Ballet, Arco's newest holiday tradition.
Family Responsibility: Families are responsible for dance uniforms, regitrationfee, costume fees, and performance fees.
AUDITIONS AND CLASS DETAILS
Take the First Step
Auditions will be held at the ACB Dance Room at Arco City Ballet, 260 W Grand Ave, Arco, ID 83213.
Scholarship classes begin August 15 and will be held on Saturday afternoons. The audition fee is $10.
WHO IS ELEGIBLE
Boys and girls ages 9 to 15.
Open exclusively to students not currently enrolled at Arco City Ballet.

Elite Instruction & Direction
This scholarship program is made possible trough the partnership between Butte County Arts and Arco City Ballet, bringing world—class classical ballet training to young dancers in our community.
Under the artistic direction of Cecilia Fisher, scholarship recipients receive exceptional instruction built upon nationally recognized standards and a commitment to artistic excellence.

American Ballet Theatre (ABT) National Training Curriculum Certified Teacher in all nine levels and Partnering.
Professional Ballerina, Trujillo Municipal Ballet School.
National Ballet Examiner, Dance Masters of America.
Recipient of the Congressional Recognition for International Cultural Diplomacy (Peru, 2025) for strengthening international cultural relations through the arts.
Honored as Global Ambassador of Peruvian Culture (2024) for her international leadership in promoting Peruvian arts and culture.
Recipient of the American Ballet Theatre Affiliate Teacher Award (2015–2017), recognizing excellence in ballet education.
Member of the International Dance Council (CID–UNESCO).
Recognized as a participant in the Guinness World Record "Most Ballet Dancers on Pointe" (Central Park, New York, 2010).
